His Grace Bishop Youssef, Bishop of Texas and Southern United States, warned that somebody impersonated His Grace, and developed a personal email with the name of Bishop Youssef, Bishop of the Southern United States to raise money for pastoral purposes. His Grace appealed to the church children to deal not with such electronic mails to avoid falling victims to fraudulent tricks. His Grace added that the children of the Coptic Church must check any financial matters concerning the diocese churches by referring to the priests and boards of the churches they are members of.
